I really like the textured waves in this painting. They give the ocean a sense of movement and make the artwork much more interesting up close.
This was exactly the kind of artwork I wanted for a relaxing space. The colors aren't overly bright, but there is still enough warmth from the sandy area to keep the painting from feeling cold. The ocean texture adds another layer of visual interest.
